Top Ten Things You Better Get Used to in USA.

Top Ten Things You Better Get Used to in USA

10. Driving. People drive huge SUVs and don't give a fuck about those who don't. The cars are very small inside but huge outside and they will use it against you on the road!

9. Privacy. If you are a US citizen you may have some, if you are not expect no privacy.

8. Lines. No lines, but if you want to get some fat doing everything online and waiting as well that's the paradise!

7. Meaning what you say. I don't know how they make new friends, probably through facebook only. Expect no invitations for anything, unless you are part of a awesome group of people (I am).

6. Change. They used to have all the money after so many wars. Get ready, they may start asking for change everywhere anytime soon.

5. Personal space. Many pretend they own your space, air and everything. Don't look for more than a few seconds or touch them. Never! You may get sued. Everything is offensive, harassment, ...

4. Duration of social events. If you are having fun, there's food, beverages and friends. Why leave? Well, they do even if they are not tired yet. Just to sit in front of a tv at home complaining about loneliness. God knows why.

3. Speed of life. Sustainable growth is better than beg for a bailout. See you later down on the road.

2. Efficiency. Nothing is perfect and many times the less efficient companies here came from US. The most efficient and profitable companies are Brazilian. Another common myth that US is much more efficient than Brazil.

1. Ambiguity. Brazil is the world's summary. US is definitely not, but their propaganda say so.”

Parece cliché, mas vale a pena adicionar: Não leve tudo tão a sério, deixemos os estereótipos de lado. Temos tantas diferenças e ao mesmo tempo tanto em comum, do "joe the plumber" ao "zé da portaria".
